Unbelievable gallery of Detoilet photos. What strikes me in looking at the former grand mansions that have been abandoned, vandalized, and burned; is that whites build and blacks destroy. Whites create, and blacks consume.
The ghetto riots of the late 60′s and early 70′s were the beginning of the end. The whites left and when the supply of capital and wealth disappeared, the city blew apart. In its present form, it is a monument to the stupidity of government, the welfare state, and political correctness run amok.

the africans are lovely, they share food and sometimes i get a knock on my door as i am often going hungry (I’m white).. the africans have fed me at times.. and i have become a friend of their children and family and gotten to know them well.. the males are all monstrous looking and the “thugs” you speak of.. but when you know them personally.. they are actually highly intelligent and switched on and hearing their stories makes you realise how difficult it is for them to get respected in white society for that. i once helped my african neighbor to win a court case where she was fired for no good reason, then when sh complained they tried ot set her up with false charges.. she fought this and won and was paid out and given an apology. This is the flip side of what is happening that these web sites never report.. which is the number of racist actions commited by whites against blacks.. now this in no way justifies things like black over-population.. this is a real problem coz whites arent having as many kids as we work to pay morgages and keep society functioning, meanwhile many unemployed ethnic and blacks are pumping out 10 kids each wit no means ot feed them.. this is a major issue globally however not just in detroit ghettos and major cities.. it is one thing more than anything else.. A TOTAL FAILURE OF CAPITALISM !! before capitalism the world popualtion was 1.5 billion.. and 1,000 years ago the whole world population was around 250 million.. now it is nearly 7 billion and expected to double to 14 billion within the next 50 years.. this is just not sutainable and i am not sending my kids to school and ot work to pay off mortgages and pay taxes if half of society is on welfare.. life is hard enough already for hardworking whites and beleive me i know both lives.. being on the streets is often a lot of fun.. its not always stressful and hard work.. whilst working a 9-5 job ,raising kids the right way IS actually extremely difficult and requires constant stress daily.. so i condemn racist blacks for judging all whites in one basket.. but i also condemn racist whites who fail to see that many ethnics and blacks suffer at the hand of powerful whites who have made it near impossible ot get ahead.

I’m an “ethnic” and am considered white. my name is however very ethnic. i live in extremely white parts of Australia. I respectfully disagree that you could find destruction to match this in other US cities. I live in Houston, one of the largest cities in the country with one of the larger minority populations. In the worst area of the city, you couldn’t find a single block that looked like those images of Detroit. The question that boggles the mnd is: Where is the leadership in that town? I have to call you out on some of your suppositions here person. Can someone turn this discussion in the direction of “recovery for Detroit”? Subtract all of the racist bullshit (whoever is kept away from education, and is not given a good job because of discrimination, is forced to live in poverty, be they black or white or Asian, etc.). We know people in poverty are more likely to commit crime. If you’ve damned people of a certain race, it is extremely difficult for them to recover, so back-the-fuck off of African Americans in the US.
Where I live, we have slightly more equality (welcome to the west, where this depressing shit hasn’t happened…yet). We do fine with equality, and crime rates are highest for guess who? Hispanics, because they are less likely to have adequate English skills, many of them having grown up in families that spoke Spanish at home, and this leaves them less available jobs. Have you been to Mexico lately? Friendly people! Who started the expanding drug trade down there? Western civilization (just in case you’d refer to the drug cartel crimes as an example of Hispanic averages). So, if you consider the fact that oppressed minorities are more likely to commit crime, you will suddenly realize that it is not a color issue. What the hell kind of idea is that? If you have seen a lot of African Americans committing crime, then why don’t you try to help them more directly? They will succeed, just like you and me, and yes, I’m white, but completely disinterested in racist bullshit.
So what do you think people should do in Detroit, to make things better? How about starting up some small businesses -one that recycles glass, one that recycles metal, another that refurbishes homes, and many that farm. Then, if you live near there, I challenge you to take 1 step in the right direction. I know several people squatting in these homes. They have water, gas and electricity. They have furniture and what not and some are quite cute, once inside.
The cops think all of them are crack houses, but they are not all dope houses. Some are, simply to keep some kind of income.
I help out one person in particular and have gotten arrested for doing so. One charge was entering w/o permission. At that point I didn’t know she was squatting. I knocked and was let in, but I guess ‘cuz she was squatting, I was guilty. Its a shame, ‘cuz now I am scared to enter any house. If all the utilities are on and its furnished, how am I to know its abandoned???
Then, I got arrested again just for being in the neighborhood. I am fighting that one. They said I was loitering in a drug area. How am I to know that?? Maybe they need to post signs telling people. eh? Anyway, I wasn’t loitering. I stopped my car, talked to a friend on the sidewalk and got back in car. The cops stopped me right then and there.
All the cops and people at the court said both arrests were ‘cuz I am white and live in the burbs.
Ridiculous! I thought this was a free country? They searched me for drugs, which they assumes is why I was in that area, they found none, so came up with these other charges. If they want me to stay out of some areas, they need to let me know where the drug areas are that I am not to be in!!! They need to post it!! And I was far from loitering. I had a car and went there to do my business, which I did, and left…or tried to leave, but couldn’t cuz they stopped me. I got searched, as did my car, both times.
I am 55 yrs. old, a social worker, and my mom lives near by. I was raised in that area.
I think its reverse discrimination, at least that is what they are telling me.
I still see my friend and take my chances. I don’t go in her home, since it isn’t hers. OH yeah, she didn’t get in any trouble the day I did for being in her house. I guess they let her live there and just arrest us who visit.
Addendum: The people who I know who are squatting ARE fixing these homes up. I know the house I speak of has had a new porch, steps, windows, just to name a few things fuxed!!!
