FLINT, Mich. (AP) – Authorities say a woman has died after being beaten with a frying pan by her 17-year-old son.

The Flint Journal reports police were called to the family’s home Monday afternoon after the woman’s 12-year-old daughter told neighbors that her brother was hitting her mother with a frying pan.

Police say the woman died at the hospital and her son also was hospitalized in serious condition. The newspaper reports that the teenager had bandages on his arms when police took him away.

Stabbing Suspect Surrenders to Melvindale Police

Police showed us surveillance video from Vineyard’s Liquor Store on Outer Drive and Dix which they say shows Smith in the midst of a voilent attack. He’s a long time customer of the store and a clerk is seen going to get him a beer. That’s when the suspect is seen attacking with such force, he actually bent the knife. He can then be seen taking cash from the register.

Women Seen in DDOT Bus Video Charged

Girls gone wild on-board a DDOT bus. Video shows the driver literally punching and kicking to fight them off. It all happened when the driver accidentally closed the door on one woman’s arm. When he re-opened the door, she was livid.

That woman is 19-year-old Devon Floyd. The other woman is 20-year-old Ladaiye Smith. Both women are charged with misdemeanor assault and battery on the 33-year-old bus driver.

Police: Woman Hits Teen With Club

Police told Local 4 that the victims said Jones-Daniels yelled out that she hated white people as she beat the teen. (No hate crime and no mention it even happened in the video.)

What in the world was this woman thinking?  Following a massive sheboon to try and get her to comply with the law all the while her 14 year old son is sitting next to her?  Stupid.  But she’s probably under the belief that blacks are funny, and nice like Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.  What she found out is that they’re more like cavemen and will bash you in the face with a stick if they don’t like what you’re doing.

Detroit Radio Host Asks For Help On Air

A local radio station stopped its live programming on Friday morning after the host called police for help.

Mildred Gaddis, the morning voice at WCHB Radio was on air when it happened. Listeners tell us she began to sound stressed and asked if the police were listening. Gaddis then asked Police to come to the station in Detroit.

We have learned it was a personnel issue.

Melvindale Woman Charged
with Murder

ALLEN PARK, Mich. – A Melvindale woman is charged with second-degree murder after police say she killed her own father following a fight over a dinner roll. Thursday morning, Ava Gordon faced a judge for the first time.

Gordon spoke quietly when addressing Judge Richard Page in 24th District Court during her arraignment. She was dressed in blue scrubs and her black eye was visible.

The 42-year-old woman’s own words hinted at her possible defense. “Greg Gordon, I believe, was trying to kill me,” she told the judge.

However, Melvindale Police Lt. Chad Hayse outlined a different story, one with a brutal ending to Gregory Gordon’s life that took place inside the family’s house on Memorial Day. “There they located a Gregory Maurice Gordon just inside the back door of the home. He had been stabbed multiple times in the head, arms and abdomen,” he said.

Woman Charged After Parking Spot Fight

YPSILANTI, Mi — An Ypsilanti woman is charged with assault, accused by police of attacking another woman over a parking spot.

Kim Dunklin is charged with aggravated assault, illegal entry, resisting police, and assault and battery.

Police said Monday night Dunklin came home and found someone had parked in a handicapped spot that was only partially marked. Dunklin wanted to park there, so she confronted the neighbor.

Dunklin got upset and assaulted the woman, police said. The neighbor suffered several injuries.

Dunklin was arrested and the judge set a $10,000 bond.

Detroit Police: Man, 22, Shot 7 teens, Killed 1

DETROIT (AP) — Detroit police have arrested a 22-year-old ex-con they say fatally shot a 16-year-old and wounded six other teens, one critically.

Police say two groups fought outside a social hall Saturday and Orlando Robinson drew a handgun and shot seven people, ages 13 to 18.

Robinson is charged with first-degree murder, assault with intent to murder, being a felon with a firearm and having a firearm during a felony. Conviction would bring automatic life imprisonment without parole.

Man Sentenced In Chicken, Fork Assaults

JACKSON, Mich. — An Ypsilanti man will spend at least three years in prison for attacking a woman with 10 pounds of frozen chicken after stabbing his mother with a fork.

Prosecutors said McKaney stabbed his mother with a fork in the back of the neck at her House after she refused to give him money. He later exchanged words with another woman as he rode a stolen bicycle. They said McKaney hit her in the head with a plastic bag of frozen chicken, opening a wound that required five surgical staples to close.
