Mother Seeks Answers In Falling Death
Apparently “bossman” is a very popular nickname for Detroit residents. What is it with blacks and their nicknames? Dimitri be rappin’ and flyin’ yall. “He believed he could fly….he believed he could touch the sky….”
The mother of the 24-year old who fell off a Southfield balcony earlier this week is speaking out.
Latricia Lanier is hoping someone will come forward and tell police what they saw or know.
Police are calling the death of Demetris Lanier murder. Lanier fell off the sixth floor balcony of North Park Towers in Southfield on Tuesday. He was found on the front lawn about 5:00pm. Witnesses told police there may have been some sort of fight before the fall.
Fox 2’s Ronnie Dahl has more from Lanier’s family who is asking for justice and answers.
