Wheels Stolen from Vehicles in Detroit
DETROIT (myFOXDetroit.com) — Several Detroit residents wake up with their cars covered in snow, but once they dug out, they noticed their tires were stolen. Crooks hit more than 30 cars, stealing dozens of wheels and leaving owners with a big bill.
It wasn’t just a foot of snow that left dozens of residents stuck on Detroit’s east side.
“I go to the side of the car and I say, ‘There are no wheels,’” said Stephanie Johnson.
Hidden by a snow storm and the dark of night, the brazen bandits stole wheels off more than 30 cars, street by street, two wheels at a time.
