Many City Council candidates have blemished records
Nineteen candidates running for the Detroit City Council owe a combined $2.4 million in unpaid income and property taxes, nearly one in seven has filed for bankruptcy and 12 have lost homes to the bank, according to court, tax and property records.
The names on the Aug. 4 primary ballot also will include three felons, including one who served 81 months in a federal prison for racketeering related to prostitution and another convicted of second-degree murder.

Topping the list of those with financial problems is Donald C. Goodson, who, according to liens on file in Wayne and Oakland counties and Arizona, owes $1.44 million in unpaid income tax and unemployment insurance taxes. Goodson also filed for bankruptcy in 1994.

I find it odd that they seem perfectly happy to have criminals running the day to day operations of their once proud city. I would bet that the majority of the morons that are allowed to vote in that cesspool would vote Conyers back into office if they were able to.

Detroit's only hope is a white mayor. A city council that represents a district instead of a city council at large. Clean house at city hall. Remove anyone in government or a government service with a criminal record of any kind. Anyone related to anyone in government office would not be allowed to hold a city job. re-establish redlining in accordance with the constitutional right of freedom of association. At some point, the state government will need to seize control of this city instead of throwing money at it.

I agree with the comment above that the State of Mi will eventually have to come in and take over instead of just throwing money at the city year after year. My sister has a business in MI and is sick of her tax money going to that cesspool of a city.
maybe incorporating Wayne Oakland and Macomb County into the city of Detroit. Then there would be a white majority and the city couold be run competently. Also I recall a study which was done when red lining and community covenants were legal and the entire tax base and land ownership in Detroit is an antiquated fiasco. Detroit still at that time depended on hand written records that had not been kept up since the race war of 1967. That is why we have corrupt council nigs paying $68 a year in property taxes – I doubt if there is any legal transfer of property showing the majority of nigs own the homes they live in. Most of Detroit nigs confiscated property when our aged white stock fled in the 67 race war. If anyone actually accounted for property in Detroit I believe anyone would be suprised how little property was owned by nigger squatters.
