CANTON, Mich. — Police said a man they had been looking for after he exposed himself to a woman at a Canton library Friday has repeated the action at Dearborn library.

Canton police said the man, who was caught on surveillance tape, exposed himself to a 25-year-old outside the Canton Public Library on the Jan. 30.

Dearborn police said Thursday that a similar incident happened Feb. 3 at the Henry Ford Centennial Library. After reviewing surveillance tape from both incidents, police said they believe the same man is responsible.

Canton police said the 25-year-old woman told them the man struck up a conversation with her outside the library but that she felt uncomfortable and walked away.

Canton police said the woman was waiting for her ride outside the library after it had closed when the man approached her again. When the woman started to move away from the man, he exposed his genitals to her, police said.
