The trial starts today for a Detroit man accused of being the Mack Avenue serial killer. Shelly Brooks is accused of killing seven prostitutes on the city’s east side. FOX 2 Problem Solver Scott Lewis helped connect the murders that led to the arrest. FOX 2′s Alan Lee has more.
Notice the “Prostitute Murder Trial” Tagline featured on the Television News Story. Guaranteed if it had been a White Man the headline would have read “Prostitute SERIAL KILLER Murder Trial.”
